Short & Pretty Parkland Course

There are seven par 3's, only two par 5's, plus five par 4's under 320 yards, so this certainly isn't the longest course you're ever going to play. What it lacks in length it makes up for in the condition though, with excelent greens, tees and fairways. It's not a course that always makes it easy for you either, with a number of narrow, tree lined fairways, and a few ponds here and there. If you're wide from the tee (like I was), then be prepared to reload.

The most memerable hole was probably the par 4 9th, which has trees up the left, and a pond on the right that eats into the fairway right where you want to land your tee shot.

I wsn't able to check out the clubhouse due to the plague that's overstaying it's welcome, but from what I could see it looked very pleasant.

Not long, but certainly worth a visit.

Love this course.

Always in wonderful condition -- the greens are very consistent and play very true. It's a short course but good course management is rewarded well. In winter the course drains well naturally so you'll find it open when other courses are closed. I highly recommend it.

Very tidy course

I found Oakland park golf club by accident, Oakland Park is a family run club, now this plays short with a great variety of holes, excellent condition and kept in a very tidy state.
Depspite being short this is still challenging and fun and I find everytime Ive played here I want to come back for more.
The 6th and 14th par 3 are little gems, as well as the beautiful short par 4 13th, the par 4's try and play a short dogleg holes to keep the course as challenging as it can be.
Ive played here about 3 times and the only problem is the drive round the M25 getting home as I have usually have played here about 2PM when the twilight rate starts so tend to get stuck in the traffic coming home. I believe the club accepts 2-1 vouchers although im not sure which other schemes they are in.
