Great Par 3 course to sharpen your game

Dukes Meadows is a pleasant parkland Par 3, near the River Thames off Chiswick Bridge.

A good lay out giving you a chance to sharpen your game "as they say". The longest hole is 141 yards. Water comes into play (on 2 holes, 5th & 9th) in the form of a large lake with a fountain & wildlife. Bunkers are well placed. The greens are excellent with truly wonderful shape & undulations, a place to practice the 90 degree putt downhill. There trees and bushes to add interest.

Today, very wet Easter Monday Bank holiday, we played off nice matts, placed further back. We had a little drizzle all the way but not cold, it was nice to be out in the fresh air after our 2 planned games (Bramshaw & Burnham) were cancelled.

There is a fine Proshop that caters for tennis as well: the Dukes Meadows has tennis courts and also a Ski training room ???? and maybe a fitness centre (not sure).

A very nice driving range and an Academy 9 holes add to the complex. A pleasant Clubhouse/Cafe style overlooking the 1st tee and starter hut. Freshly prepared food available as well.

Large car Park.

The round costs £13.50. No discount for County Card nor Seniors which I find odd.

A popular place when time is short and when one wants to concentrate on the short game.

Will return.
